How do I get to the Club?
Within Cologne
Take the 9, 12 or 15 tram to Zülpicher Platz or the 12, 15, 16 or 18 to Barbarossaplatz, which is only four stops from the main station. The bus line 978 (Cologne Hbf to Hürth), also stops at Barbarossaplatz.
On foot
Coming from Zulpicher Platz
From Zulpicherplatz cross into Friedrichstraße between the kitchen showroom and the ice-cafe Cortina.
Go past the greengrocer and turn back up Weyerstraße, between Haus Töller and the Kölsche Jung.
Coming from Barbarossaplatz
From Barbarossaplatz, take Neue Weyerstraße towards Edeka und the Merzenich Bakery.
Keep left into the Weyerstraße and go straight on over the Friedrichstrasse, between Haus Töller and the Kölsche Jung.
Bear to the right and you will see the Overseas Club at Weyerstraße 84.
By Car
The nearest underground car park (Parkhaus) is under Kaisers Supermarket on the Hohenstaufenring just before Zülpicher Platz when heading south.
Von Norden (Leverkusen, Neuss, Düsseldorf usw.)
- A57 towards central Cologne (Köln-Zentrum)
- Take the A57 towards Köln Zentrum, go under the railway bridge and directly aftwerwards turn right onto Gladbacher Straße, and carry on to Kaiser Wilheim ring. Turn right at the traffic lights and stay on the ring until you reach Kaisers Tiefgarage, on Hohenstaufenring shortly before Zülpicher Platz on the right side.
- A3 Towards Frankfurt
- Take the A3 towards Frankfurt until you see signs for Süd, direction Aachen, then turn right towards Deutz Zentrum, keep to the right, and turn right at the sign for the Severinsbrücke. Cross the Rhine and keep left, at the first traffic light Barbarossaplatz is signposted. Go straight, on the right before Barbarossaplatz is the Hotel Ibis, and behind this hotel is the Overseas Club. To get to Kaisers Parkhaus follow the road until you reach Barbarossaplatz, turn right at the traffic lights along the Hohenstaufenring to Zülpicher Platz, and shortly after is Kaiser's Parkhaus on the left side of the road. Keep left until the next traffic light, turn left and then back to the Parkhaus.
From the south (Brühl, Wesseling, Bonn etc.)
- A555 towards central Cologne (Köln-Zentrum)
- Take the A555 on the left of the Rhine and continue straight over the roundabout towards Cologne. Take Bonnerstraße to Chlodwigplatz, then left onto Carolingians ring, on to Barbarossaplatz and Zülpicher Platz. Shortly after is Kaiser's Parkhaus on the other side of the road. Keep left until the next traffic light, turn left and then back to the Parkhaus.
From the west (Frechen, Bergheim, Kerpen, Düren, Aachen etc.)
- A4 towards Bonn
- Best is to take the ring road south or A4 towards Bonn until Klettenberg exit, then turn right towards Cologne Zentrum on Luxembourg Straße. At Barbarossaplatz go left around back to the traffic light, turn right along the Hohenstaufenring to Zülpicher Square. Shortly after is Kaiser's Parkhaus on the other side of the road. Keep left until the next traffic light, turn left and then back to the Parkhaus.
From the east (Bergisch Gladbach, Overath, Olpe etc.)
- A4 towards central Cologne (Köln-Zentrum)
- Take the A4 towards Köln-Zentrum, continue straight through to the Zoobrücke, then keep right, turn right at the end of the bridge and keep right at the curve, right into the Elsa Brandström Street, keep left and turn left at the traffic lights on until Riehler Ebert place. Then right at the traffic lights along Hansaring and Kaiser-Wilhelm-Ring, Hohenzollemring, Habsburger ring and Hohenstaufenring until you reach Kaisers Tiefgarage, shortly before Zülpicher Platz on the right side.
