Language Lessons
- Not just drilling grammar or vocabulary (which can also be at home), but to overcome inhibitions and practice speaking on interesting subjects and under the guidance of experienced native speakers.
- The lessons each last 55 minutes.
- The teachers are all native speakers.
- The English language sessions are always held on Wednesdays and Fridays. For "intermediate students"(all those who learned English at school) at 19:30, and for "advanced students" at 20:30.
- The Spanish conversation round is on Wednesdays weekly at 19:30 (beginners) and 20:30 (advanced).
- French takes place every 14 days on Friday. At 19:30, for beginners with limited knowledge, there is "Vacances avec Florence" on holiday themes, and at 20:30 clock conversation for advanced students.
- We are planning "German for Foreigners" (DAF) every other Friday. Interested persons should please call or email us.
- Each lesson is self contained, so you can join the course at any time.
- And there is also plenty of opportunity, before and afterward the lessons, to come into contact with native speakers and non-native speakers in the club, and to chat in your chosen language.
German Conversation For English Speakers
- Do you want to polish up your German language skills?
- The Overseas Club Cologne offers German Conversation classes with native speakers, at intermediate and advanced levela.
- At the same time, you can take part in the Club`s leisure and culture program and get into contact with friendly people in the Club's own premises.
- Every second Friday beginning at 7:30 pm (intermediate)and 8:30 pm (advanced). We offer special prices for ESC members.
